"I bought the sliding sealer before and didn't work that too well because sometime you leave it more than it wants and with excessive heat. I like this product because it has a pre-set timer for each type /thickness of bags. I've tested it with the 6.0 ml which is the thickest in plastic sheet at p6 setting which is about 16 secs. It did two lines of sealing and looks good so far."
